Who am I?
My name is Blake Stafford. I am 21 years old and I am from Durham, North Carolina originally. Currently, I am a junior at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. I will graduate in May 2016 with a double Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish.
I recently returned from studying abroad in Madrid, and I plan on returning to teach English for a year after I graduate. Once my year there is over, I then plan on attending journalism school and working. Lots of big changes ahead!
When I am not in the classroom, I work as a student manager in the student center here on campus. When I am not working, you can find me driving or walking aimlessly with music in tow, writing, planning something, drinking coffee, watching hilarious Vines, or all of the above.
What can I offer you?
I am an extremely hard worker who dedicates herself wholeheartedly to everything she does. Anyone I have ever worked for will tell you that my support for my workplace is undying. I work to all possible ends.
One thing I strive to do at work is solve issues on my own. I problem-solve before asking for help. If I can't find a solution, that's when I go to a superior. This is how I convey my independence, attention to detail, and accuracy through my work.
Learning is one of my greatest passions. I strive to learn everyday. I can offer you an employee who will never try to stop learning, who will never stop asking questions. I can offer you an employee that wants to learn about your organization, your opportunities, and most importantly: you.
